Just took ownership of my first Ferrari - a 2016 488 Spider. I just wanted to confirm that I am not missing any literature with the car because the owners manual is a bit limited with information....but I assume that is because each car is built so differently depending on the options that were ordered. Is there any owner literature I am missing? Photos below is everything I have with the car plus the original window sticker.

The button in question is on the dash here but not mentioned in the Reference Guide that came with the car. Can someone let me know what this does? I just want to make sure this button is not an eject button for the passenger....

So havent tried it out yet. So this is for the reverse camera.... and I assume only functional when the car is in reverse? I will give it a try later today.

So as far as documentation am I missing anything? I would have thought something like this would be explained in an owners manual since it was a somewhat common option.

The button is described in the owners manual about page 115 - do you have this book which is about 300 pages long ?

So I dont have the book your talking about. All I have is a short "Reference Guide" that came with the car in a pouch you can see in the photos I posted. So there was originally a 300 page owners manual that came with all these cars?

I tried to upload the manual, but it was too large. Looks like 25MB file, PM or e-mail me and I'll try to send it to you. Or, Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale: https://di-uploads-development.dealerinspire.com/ferrarioffortlauderdale/uploads/2020/05/488gtb.pdf. You owe use more pictures of the 488!

Yes the full owner's manual is usually stored in one of the pouches in the frunk.

Not sure if it was just mine, but the leather case/pouch it came with is too small for the manual and doesn't snap close...

Don't have that problem with mine. The manual fits in a separate pocket on the outside of the pouch and closes fine.

fyi, as I recall offhand the bottom will only do something if your car has the rear camera option. That wasn't standard on the 488, at least not in all model years to the best of my knowledge.
