    Actually, it looks like it was built on a D-Type, and shown in Geneva in 1963. It has recently been sold, see http://www.classicscars.com/jaguar/jaguar.html

    Michelotti did the Triumph Spitfire and TR4, which explains the somewhat Triumph-like detailing (which is actually, Michelotti-like detailing).
