    Not sure whether the BMW 4.4L engine was a production or pre-production version...but boy...a Bimmer V8 has never sounded so good...I was in Europe for a bike tour and saw one. The owner popped the hood and it was a BMW V8...

    It also holds the accolade of being the wiiidest production car..I think. A flying doorstop it was called.

    Looks like a chunky EB110 to me. I think it looks kind of neat, early 90s supercar like.

    I wish they made them in much more volume, they only made (make?) a handful per year I think. I really like it - would be a fantastic car for under $80,000. Any body know what Detamaso is up to these days and how many they sell and if they have another model available?

    The front looks more like an RX-7 then a Corvette.
