O2 sensor, is it burnt due to electrical heating or physically melted by touching exhaust?
One lead is at 12v with ign on (for heating element), if it is grounded in the sensor it could cook the contacts, or maybe someone forgot to plug it in and it melted by touching the exhaust.

Hi Mark thankyou for your kind reply, will the vehicle be okay to start up, if yes will it run badly due to the connection being disconnected, thanks .

Is it just one complete wire that one can change from one end to the other or does it go elsewhere first then to the 02sensor .

Obviously it would be best to check to see if all is okay at the sensor end before going any further perhaps.
