What is this ferrari lapel pin for?

    Out of the blue, I got a small padded envelope from the FCA, with a small lapel pin, It has the ferrari logo on it, and my name.

    No letters. No documents. No anything.

    Just a pin.

    Now what? :) Does this entitle me to any secret meetings? Do I get discounts with it? Get to touch ferrari's at car shows?

    Do I wear it when I go grocery shopping? At work? When I go to the dealer looking for a new car?

    A letter welcoming me to the FCA would have been nice.

    So, what do I do with this pin (any secret handshakes involved)?

    Having seen a few too many FCA members (and being one myself), I wouldn't shake anyone's hand without an ample supply of Purell nearby.

    The membership folks goofed... it *is* supposed to come with a welcome letter! So I'll say it instead... welcome to FCA! I've been a member for over 10 years, and have helped run a lot of events. It's a great organization overall.

    When I joined FCA, the name tag came under separate cover. I bet you'll get the welcome letter in the next few days. It comes with a membership card, a list of officers and a brochure for regalia.

    That's your $130 ID pin........the meetings are indeed secret you have to bang the door REAL FU CKIN" loud and they let you in.....

    And no you cannot touch the cars!! LOL!

    Watch the clasp, it'll fail if riding in T SPringer's Comp Daytona and fly out into No Problems Raceway.....last I saw of mine it was stuck on a hot slick on the rear of Mr. Risi's 333SP......:rolleyes:

    You get a magazine too..real nice...Prancing Horse.

    They out source fabrication to a cottage vendor no one can find, and it does no have a Part Number, or show in the diagram.....
