I have huge white smoke coming from the engine bay and found out that the belt was melted. So I need to replace the serpentine belt. WHile searching for the belt's routing photographs, I found 2 that are different. One of them has an additional pulley, in red circle; the otther doesn't. It is also in the parts diagrams, #35. Is this a late/early difference for f430s? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Drive belts don't just "melt" on their own. Something seized and caused the belt to self destruct. I suggest further investigation to determine the cause of the belt failure.
