Thank you all for the feedback. The bad news is that I have yet to find the fastener that I need so I may have to resort to foreign vendors.

Still if anyone has any leads I'd be happy to follow them.

Have you tried a BMW dealer? They are used to mount the condenser to the radiators in some models..damned if I can remember which however. Could also be range rover as well.

m5guy is right, find a shop that has a Swiss and be done with it. It's really not that big a deal. Bar stock goes in one end and finished parts come out the other. You will need to make a print, or get someone who has a CAD program make a quick model, but it's almost trivial.

I had some very high temperature fasteners made from an exotic alloy and they weren't that expensive. If you're going to make 150 of them it will be very reasonable on piece part basis.

You might want to consider making them of something like a nickel alloy or stainless then they won't rust or rot in the future. When you consider the cost of the bar stock it's not that much to upgrade to stainless, and you won't have to bother with plating them.

Heck even I spent 45 minutes searching for you last week but the above looks like a winner.
Where do I send the invoice for that 45? :)
