First time poster... Exploring the possibility of joining the ranks with a 360 Spider. Was checking out some listings online, and came across this. In this picture http://1.photos2.ebizautos.com/used-2002-ferrari-360_spider-daytonaseats-759-5783541-13-640.jpg there seems to be a bit of a wrinkle in the passenger airbag cover. Is this at all typical?

Carfax indicates this vehicle was in a minor front end collision in 2003. Could the issue in the image be from reloading the airbag after a previous deployment? And would that be reported as "slight" damage by the authorities?

    Thanks!

This is quite common on early 360's. The adhesive behind the leather has let go and it needs to be reglued. You need to remove the air bag which includes the cover. Airbag is accessible up under glove box. Suggest disconnecting power (main switch in trunk) before unplugging and removing airbag. Once cover is removed, carefully peel back leather and then carefully use a spray-on adhesive (3M make one) on both surfaces, let adhesive tack off and then CAREFULLY re-lay the leather. Start at one side of the cover and gently pull leather across cover while at the same time pressing firmly and smoothing with fingers to exclude any possibility of air bubbles. I have the same problem. Good luck.
