    it is an old kit car called a sterling. early 80's was the first time i saw one.

    this version pays homage to jwr and the le mans victories! lol!!

    Its no longer VW based anymore now you can get a tube chassis for them with WRX engine for power.

    I really like the Neira verison of this car with the gullwing doors.

    Funny... I once asked about the same car, after it made about a second long appearance in one of the Miami Vice episodes. I love how the whole cabin opens up on those, like on a Saab Aero X.
