To all, After a track day, I was cleaning the engine bay of my RHD 360 modena spider (manual) when I noticed this plug on the right hand side of the engine just below the throttle body. It looked like it had been taped up to another wire and had come loose. My guess is that it has always been that way as the nature of the plug/clip seems to make it near impossible to come loose I can't find anything that it could possibly clip into. There are two similar clips on the left hand side throttle body and both are properly attached. The engine runs fine. I've included two photos. Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated before I take it to my mechanic. By the way here is a quick clip of my 360 at Sydney Motor Sport Park running a Capristo Twin Sound. I am the one in front. The 360 behind me is running a Tubi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBOlMk5EC6A Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Can't help out with the plug as I am not near my car to check atm, but your video is marked as private, so unable to view.
Guys, I think I've found the answer. As per the photo attached, there is a plug (31S) that attaches to the secondary air solenoid valve. This solenoid is only in USA cars and is a requirement to run the secondary air pump for emission controls. My guess is that Ferrari lays the same wiring loom pattern for all cars and just leave this plug unattached for automobiles not being delivered to the USA. Mine is an original UK delivery car. Any confirmation would be much appreciated. Image Unavailable, Please Login
