    It might be one of the hinge pins that helps to secure the battery cover in the passenger side footwell. The top of the cover is held in place by screws; the bottom has little pins that slot into a bracket behind the cover.

    I assumed you were referring to some sort of emergency window crank - - and spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out where one would use it in the car ;)
