    No, you have a one-year-old member schooling you on proper & acceptable etiquette on this forum.... that's something that could be done by either a ten-year-member or a one-month-member who "gets it".

    You continute to choose not to "get it", and as a result I am putting a request in for you to receive a temp ban.... not a permaban - although the ******baggery you've exhibited probably deserves it, but I am going to request a temporary ban - the duration of time, I will leave up to the discretion of the moderators - in the hopes that you will see that this is a great forum for so many reasons, and if you're willing to quit being inflammatory, maybe you'll come back and either contribute even ONE THING positive, or even learn ONE THING that will benefit you, or you can pass along, that you will have made some positive contribution to either this forum in specific, or the world of exotic car enthusiats in general.

    Let's take your profile for instance, it is not a "Ghost Profile".
    Under previous cars owned, you list "Far too many(and painful) to recall!", you have a few various cars that you presently own and no personal Ferrari's, but you want a 550 Maranello.

    I have no reason to doubt your profile as anything but honest and truthful, why would I think otherwise?

    I have owned Ferrari's for close to 20 years, and other sports cars for over 30 years.... and your right, I am no expert.....but I also have a fair amount of knowledge about my cars(definitely more than most, as you put it, "20-something greasers") .......but guess what.....you are wanting a 550 and I happen to own one.
    If you look at my profile, you would notice that and when I post along with the other 550 owners, I am quite certain that between us owners, we can help you with your questions, and share our experience when it comes to you looking to buy one. No disrespect to you, but I would think that you would appreciate information from owners like myself and others......

    Your right, a person does not have to own a Ferrari to present a valid opinion or perspective; but if you are in the future market for a 550 Maranello, would you not want that opinion or perspective from someone with real ownership experience?

    The point in question is this: If I have a profile that has N/A in all the car categories, no photos of my cars, no name in my title, no location, no post history.....a real "Ghost Profile" would you take advice from me if you posted in the 550 section about looking to buy a 550?

    It would show that I don't own anything, and as you put it, that there is no way to verify what I am typing on the internet.

    For all you know, I could be inside cell block H in the Joliet Correctional Center.......;)

    Yep, the reason why I hate f car get togethers are because 98% of them blew their entire net worth on a car trying to be someone ALL THE F ing TIME, think I'm kidding? just look at this thread, most f car owners I have met are complete D bags, very few are class acts, most don't want to participate anymore in the weekend events so that's why there are all the ghost profiles and the people who start threads to sell something....

    Chip....maybe you should reread your comments & include yourself as a No Class, D bag...let's count ALL the false assumptions you make & unwarranted comments.....Firstly....do you don't like f car get togethers....DON'T ATTEND!!!....secondly....are you with the I.R.S?....how would you know the net worth of 98% of Ferrari owners?     Yep, I'm a D Bag, no prob there, false assumptions? Our meetings are in the biggest little city in the world, I go to collect my money because that's where I know the guys that owe me will be. No, I'm not with the I.R.S. but since you mention it I'll call them Monday. The 98% were guys in my local group, did I say 98% world wide? Who's making assumptions? Yep, lot's of D bags out there... I know all about them. They are always trying to prove something aren;t they?
