I've been hitting www.ferrariofdallas.com for months now since boardwalk took over and their Ferrari page still isn't working. Why? It also seems they have little ferrari inventory on the floor. I know it is prob due to the consignment factor. Is there anything in the attic? Just seems kinda boring to me now.

Now lambo of dallas seems to have their act together and create some buzz.

    Just my opinion though.

I had the same experience for months with the FoD page. Finally gave up and only checked FoSA and FoH. They need to spend some money on a working website!!! Lost one potential sale.

That place is definitely boring now....honestly, what decent Ferrari dealer only has 2 Ferrari's in their showroom!? Dallas needs a REAL Ferrari dealer!!

Boardwalk probably just likes having a Ferrari dealership for the sake of being a Ferrari dealer. It's the only logical explanation of why they wouldn't even bother w/ a website. Websites used to be optional, and the sign of a "cutting edge business. Today, websites are as essential as having your phone number listed in the phone book.

in their defense I imagine they sell enough new cars with zero advertising so messing with consignments and used inventory for tire kickers like me is just a pain in the rear.

I agree that they ought to get their act together on the website. However, I recently visited the dealership, great folks, the sales manager told me that they just couldn't keep any Ferrari's in stock. Looks to me like they have too much tied up in facility and other non-ferrari cars. Have they lost their focus?

I will say that my service experience with them was very good so I highly recommend them. Their shop is incredible...I wish my garage would look like that!

Isn't that Ferrari's philosphy afterall? ;) I'm Marcy from Boardwalk Ferrari. I apologize for the delay in our website. The reason is logistics between all of our corporate as well as factory entities who need to agree on what's to be set up & how. It's been equally frustrating for us here to not have a dynamite website to represent our new store. All I can ask is for the fans to please bear with us. As far as our inventory goes, we have been using some nice pre-owned "other" makes to keep the flow going over the past few months while Ferrari switches gears on the V8s. If you were here every day, you would see the amount of Fcars going in & out of our store, but random visits will give the impression that we aren't doing anything. If there's a particular car someone wants we can usually get it for them, which means it doesn't stay here long (sometimes only a few hours) before the anxious new owner picks it up. I am so glad to be here, being a huge F1 fan myself. I have been in the biz for 11 years and come from BMW, then Porsche, & now the pinnacle! Corporately we are all very excited about building this store's business and providing the caliber of sales & service Fcar clients should have! Thanks for taking the time to read this.

great explination Marcy, i use to look at the FoSA webpage all the time and saw that they didnt have anything in their inventory, i would look and look and nothing, that is when i went to the dealership and saw they had about 7 ferrari's on the floor, 4 of which were not sold, i wondered why they didnt put them up on the website, but i talked to Tony (great guy if you want to go over there), he said they dont usually post them because they sell so quick, they dont have time to post them up because they get sold. i thought by looking at the inverntory it would show how many they have at the dealer. But when i went they had tons of them over 12 ferraris and 7 or more maserati scattered through the dealer, just like Marcy said just give it some time and it will come soon, thats what i thought about FoSa but now i see how busy they are and the amount of ferrari's they sold. And plus if a dealer has so many new cars then they arent doing so good, like tony said, a good dealership is one that sells cars and not just keep them at the dearlership...

ps. i might have gon off topic but i tried:=)

Marcy! It's been a while since I've been by Porsche and you may not remember me, but this is Evan Jones. I worked at Porsche as a valet when we first opened the new store. You scared the life out of me that time I rode in your M3 :) Are you handling the finance at Ferrari?

They never seemed to return phone calls. Took our business elsewhere.

I hear BW told people on 430 list that they got booted from list, new owners, new list, they can sell to whomever they wish??
I've heard of 3 people so far....They don't seem happy, some were on list 2 years???
FNA hears about this, and BW will get franchise yanked, methinks.
    Group buy anyone??

Lee, FNA won't do jack. It takes a lot more than that to lose a franchise. FNA, like BMWNA and others, tolerates anything short of their dealers getting caught (and convicted of) robbing banks in broad daylight before they will even gently discipline dealers. They all take the "our dealers are all independent businesses & can do what they want" bullschit line.

    Seriously.

Greg Minor, the GM at BW will not fall in love with a car. He will move it out and get another to replace it as quickly as possible. He is also very methodical when picking up pre-owned ones to assure that they are really good cars. If they do not meet up to standards, the price gets reduced in a hurry and they disappear..........

I worked with Greg while I was with Baillargeon Audi and found him a good car guy who certainly knows what he is doing. If you want a car, give him the specs, a deposit and a little time and if the car exists, he will find it...........

I have known several of their key people for a long time, prior to their ownership in Ferrari. I have found Bobbie Rodriguez to be a great person to work with and have trusted him for many years. He has never disappointed me. We all know that FoD had issues.....Clearly, Boardwalk is learning the business in the world of Ferrari and I have no doubt with a little bit of time they will provide what Dallas deserves, a great Ferrari dealership.

Dont forget Mercedes Benz North America.
First hand knowledge on this one. Talk about hands off when it comes to the dealers , even when fraud is involved, you are inconveniencing them to even get a response and good luck if you want intervention.

I find it ridiculous that people come on here just to plug a dealership ... introduce yourself, contribute, and be a part of the community first please!
