Nice monochromatic picture. Unfortunately, or actually fortunately... Can't tell which one is the new and the "old" DD. Speaks volumes of the lines and care. Nice job.

You’re right. “Old” DD is the BMW Alpina B4 Cabrio (2016). New is the 992 4S Cab. They’re both grey, very similar colors. The Pista is Argento Nurburgring. I’m always tempted to get some real color but apparently this isn’t for me... Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Yes. Many hapless Tesla owners will fail to recognize the turbo vs regular Carreras until they realize they cannot out-accelerate them like normally they would! A recent gathering of Ferrari owners was “bring your other car” themed. Look what showed up! Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
But of course, nearly all Ferrari owners were previous Porsche owners who made the jump. Out of all those, that 993... Man.. something about that car.. it is the new Porsche holy grail. Sent from my BLA-A09 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
You and I, one in the same mind! lol I have an '18 M5 as my DD and also a 458 as one of my toys! View attachment 3061996 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, but these are current Ferrari owners who use their Porsches more often, some as daily drivers (probably not the 993 turbo, though). Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Can't blame them for not using the 993 as a DD. Nobody predicted that this car would be highly sought, more difficult to get and would become a collector's item. Some say that the 997 is the following generation to follow suit. This of course, is too early to know.

Mayor, that car is beautiful. I was just looking at these new Corvette convertibles. It's amazing what they've done to produce this car and the technology included for the price point. I would think some of the European exotic car makers are scratching their heads wondering how they did it. Is that the LT2 package? Most importantly, how do you like the car? Very interested. Thanks. BTW my daily driver right now below:
I'll PM you my thoughts so we don't get off the rails of this thread but the cliff note version is -- its darn good and worth every penny.
Awesome 993! I'm an air cooled guy myself. Started w/ a new '09 997.2S, but then made the AC switch in '11 to my '84 Targa. It's a fn go-cart. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3851548
Sounds really nice at around 4K RPMs. I used to have the previous model (2016) and I have to admit I think it sounded a little less encumbered. The 2020 models have the particulate diffuser in the exhaust so its tamed down a bit. Even so it wails at higher RPMs. Its an amazing car.
Just traded M6 for this 2017 Panamera Turbo. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
