Basically it sounds like you'd expect it to as a Performante. I went with JCR and it was a perfect fit, 1 day install. Also added a Capristo value controller if you want it quiet. I have mine set to open so I don't have to mess with it.
Cayenne turbo GT, spanks the Urus, Purosangue, RRS etc. Chassis is the stand out feature but its very quick too, dyno's at almost 700PS but the Pork people aren't allowed to say that as it upsets their big bro Lambo.
Had both. The Porsche def hotter of the two and quicker. But way too harsh suspension vs urus s, and loses several features I enjoy like the full glass sunroof. But yea, it’s hotter for sure.
I actually do agree with you since this is a family hauler, it doesn’t really need to be that loud. When I drive with the family, I actually turn the mode to the softest exhaust note and it’s still even a tad loud. But if I want to have fun and romp on it, then I will put it in V mode and enjoy the V8 growl. I do enjoy the 200+ extra HP and the tightened up handling suspension. The normal version is a slug lol. I had the Turbo GT for about a month and while it drove well it didnt feel any faster than the Perf and the chaotic user interface in the Porsche is a big fail. Not to mention it looks so blah in comparison and it is much quieter. The suspension in the Performance is much sportier than the TGT as well.

Just did a 600 mile, 3 state, pouring rainstorm to light snow drive in my Urus S (with Pirelli winter tires in 22” trim), avg 18mpg at 80mph. Unflappable. Had no idea it came standard with s level of self driving aids that were decent. Also, massaging seats are wonderful. Get to SFO, pop into track mode with the windows down, bang, pop, crack goes the Akrapovic exhaust.

Since there’s often comments about Tesla and Range Rover quality and costs for DD. Tesla lowest, Range Rover highest. https://www.carscoops.com/2024/04/tesla-costs-the-least-to-maintain-among-all-brands-but-what-about-the-batteries/
My wife and I both work from home unless traveling....so no real daily driving. I got a 2024 Jeep 392 back in November and have been enjoying it running errands and out to eat. Wife just got rid of her 2020 Aston Martin Vantage. We share a Porsche Cayenne that I use for driving business trips. Base 6cyl but nice upgrade options on it...got it used for a deal a little over a year ago. Shocked the base 6 cylinder only seems to get around 21-22mph highway 75-80mph.
