Calamari, gently sauteed in garlic butter. Followed with homemade Caesar salad with a correctly grilled salmon filet placed on top. Finished with a lemon crumb pie and coffee. Gentle kiss from Mrs.; a perfect 575M start, and a no traffic return home for a greeting by Corgi and Springer.
Freshly boiled lobster, drawn garlic butter, fresh French loaf, tossed salad with a good Italian dressing a little Parmesan sprinkled plus cracked pepper and a nice buttery flavored Chardonnay. Yea, a little fresh white peaches and cream corn, would work too.
I'll need a bib. Antipasto Gumbo 2 massive skewers of Shaslik - marinated for 3 days 2 massive skewers of Prawns and Scallops - with ridiculous amount of clarified butter Greens Stuffed potato Ranch Style Beans - made from scratch, like everything else, including... Popover Biscuits Bananas Foster Ice Cream "Bring me a bucket" - I'll have seconds and thirds. I want to clear the room. Throughout, it's all washed down with a succession of 6 1/2 oz. bottles of Coca Cola, with a little frost on top of each bottle, which I'll drink straight out of. Tinnitus that caffeine gives me will be a non-issue because... then Halle, dressed in an X-Rated Catwoman Suit... can pull the switch!

I digress. This is Memorial day fare in the offing. Pick your trimmings. But, MY RIBS. We start on Tuesday by putting the hickory chips in water to soak. On Friday we sprinkle the raw ribs with barbeque spices and cover in refrigerator over night. Saturday morning we fire up the grill with fire ring on the side with charcoal and hickory to smoke ribs which are set on the side to smoke only. They smoke for five hours, kept moist. Then, placed in pan and basted with barbeque sauce over night in fridge. Sunday, we cook in oven (basting) at 200 degrees for two hours and serve. Eat or die! Cheers.
I love food, and this is a bit informal and sure there are great tasting steaks, but not alot beats a Chipotle Burrito for me, Rice, Black Beans, Double Steak, Mild salsa, Hot Salsa, Cheese, Sour Cream, Lettuce, and of course Guacamole SOoo good, and since I moved to NC, they dont have them down here, I am so lonely... but soon they will return and one will be less then 2 miles from my house... so great
I'll take lamb or mutton chops - preferably with a nice gamey flavor, none of that bland stuff most markets carry. Serve it to me bloody rare with fresh bread to sop up the juices
