Sampled a mess of their product(s) years back, and fell in love. Wish I could source another bottle, locally. In my opinion? The flavors were fantastic, all up & down their range.

While you guys are sippin', I'm making margaritas in my slushy machine.
I picked this up at Sam's Club today. I think it will do well with the Peach Schnapps and Triple Sec I use.
Remember, your taste buds are somewhat immobilized from the chillin' so no fancy Tequila required.

    Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Tequila-tini with Padron Anejo and Dolin vermouth. Twist of lemon and an olive. Fantastic after a long day.

The local stores are cleaned out of good tequila following cinco de Mayo.

I picked this one up yesterday. It’s a bit boozy right after it’s poured, but opens up after a bit and reveals lots of different flavors and complexity. Carmel, leather, tobacco, vanilla.

I have a bottle of the reposado that I really like and need to replace soon

I’ve also been drinking Tequila Ocho Anejo and El Tesoro Single Barrel Reposado. All great stuff!

It's hard to beat the Don at most times. Unless you are talking Mezcal; that is a completely different story.

    You totally would it’s amazing.

check out this guy’s ratings. He’s legit, even if he reviews expensive tequilas wearing a wife beater at times. LOL !

I'm half blind, but? I can immediately recognize 5 bottles that I've sampled. Still a big fan of many of Clase Azul's offerings, and frankly don't have the budget to dive into much of the really artisan stuff. Frankly? For sipping, I'll often go to a really smoky mezcal, even if it costs more than I usually pay, because though I love the complex flavors, the smoke stops me from just gulping glass after glass. Perhaps a bit like a very "peaty" single malt scotch?

Many of the artisan bottles are being aged in barrels previously used for scotch, whiskey, wine, etc.

This is giving the end products layers of flavors.
