First, I love how every viewing angle provides a different experience. Second, how much better she runs when driven frequently and, third, how she looks parked 50 yards away, under tree shade at a Sunday early a.m. coffee shop. How fortunate am I to be able experience this.

Easy ? for me. Number 1 is the looks without a doubt. Some other things that quickly come to mind are the gated shifter and of course the sound.

Of course #1 for me is the looks or the styling.
And 2nd is the fact that it’s a Ferrari. :)

Its been a while since I've owned mine but I felt the 4 valve version was "tossable". You could have a little fun with it in the corners and not kill yourself. It felt like a sports car where more modern Ferrari's seem more like GT's.

The gearbox was a huge improvement over the 246 Dino. The interior much nicer.

I also liked that it was not for tall people. For once, being small was an advantage! :)

I like conceptual simplicity of so many of the elements of the 308.

Now that I've had the oil pans off and changed my shifter shaft seals, I am amazed at that straight-through direct connection of the shift lever and the shift fork in the transmission. Works great.

I love the simple cable clutch. I've never had a car with one before and it works so flawlessly.

I love the simple cable throttle.

I love the Bowden cable heater controls.

… the ineffective handbrake, not so much.

Nice to think the great Niki Lauda helped to develop the 308.Even has the same Vitaloni's as his F1 car.

That would be the Dino GT4 that Niki helped Enzo with.
