I noticed this section doesn't have an FF or an F12 Registry, so I thought we ought to begin one - why not right here, right now? If you don't want to post the full VIN, just post the serial number. For our members abroad, just note if your far is LHD or RHD. Other registries note exterior and interior options, mileage, etc. So what's your serial number? Be the first to add to the FF/F12 registry that will undoubtedly be a detail- and photo-laden festival of Ferrari V12 joy!

Quick question - should we separate the two? Should we have separate registries for the FF than the F12? Should I start a separate thread? What say you?

Carbon is our Ferrari historian. He keeps an extensive database on Ferrari colors, options, serial numbers, and, when he can get them, assembly numbers and engine numbers. His database has been invaluable to potential owners down the line as they research Ferraris to purchase. He can also help answer questions like first and last built and a little work by model owners using Carb's data can tell them when updates were made on Ferraris of interest. Below are examples of what can be done with Carb's data.

So providing him info on your Ferrari, if you own one, can benefit the Ferrari community, especially since Marcell Massini does not do the late model, mass produced Ferraris.

Not rude and, like you said, now you know. Matthias Urban also maintains a website register of serial numbers and other info at f-register.com. You can send him info on your Ferraris at his website.

I think Marcel Massini is today's foremost historian, without question. And I think Matthias Urban's VIN Book is a comprehensive works of collecting VINs and making them publicly viable for people to see. But I'm adamant and relentless about identifying Ferrari's comprehensive lineup, no matter how long it takes me. Ergo, these FF/F12 Registries will help to thin the gap between the known and unknown. So what do you say, j09333, care to share and add to the effort? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Rick, awesome - thank you!

Let me guess: Grigio Silverstone with tan leather, Daytona seats with cream centers and tan inserts, shields, split-level five-spoke wheels, yellow calipers, and front parking sensors? Are you the original owner? Thanks for contributing, your initiative is greatly appreciated - hopefully it will urge others to participate.

Yep, original owner. It was going to be a dealer demo but I bought it before it got any demo miles and the dealer kept their previous demo car for another three months. It has the diamond finish wheels, cuoio rather than normal beige with crema inserts, shields, Daytona, white tach (which is the perfect color, I will no longer order yellow), leather headliner which is half couio and half crema, no stupid rear wiper, no stupid right side speedo, no front camera, yellow calipers, cuoio upper dash too which looks great. It also came with Pirelli's which are far better than Michelin's except for the number of miles you can get out of them.

Next F car I order will get the same color combination, I love it.

Thanks, Rick - and congratulations! You also have a red California as well, right? Was that ordered new as well?

So who's next? Who else wants to contribute to the registry?

Correct, the California was ordered new by me. It is my second Cali, first I sold with over 29 K miles on her just to get a zero mile car again. My FF now has 28K but I can't quite afford to replace it yet :) The Cali has become a nice warm day car while the FF is the daily driver.

Wow...didn't realize they're already up to 200k on the VINs. It seems like it was just yesterday the F50(s) were at 99,999.

Late '94, but 99999 debuted at the Geneva Auto Show in March, 1995. But the first of three prototypes was conceived toward the end of 1992 - more than 20 years ago! Time flies when you're making the best sports cars the world has ever known.

Thanks, Rick! Since 186152 was built in January, 2012, I imagine your California was also built in January.

Can't wait. Expect to use her for all weather cross country trips, putting the rear seats down and stowing our gear.

    Bianco Avus
    Cioccolato
Nero stitching and horse on headrests
    Nero carpets
    Cioccolato headliner
    Giallo calipers
    Shields
    20" Forged painted rims
    White rev counter
    AFS System
    Rear wiper

In addition, there will be some light customizing done upon arrival:
    1. Full body paint protection
    2. Windshield protection film
    3. 40% transmission tint side and rear windows
    4. Novitec cat-back exhaust
    5. Powder coat wheels and external logos

Given the dark brown interior, the plan is to powder coat exterior wheels in a very dark metallic brown. Powdercoat is also important for durability. I know from experience that painted wheels tend to get chewed up in the desert.

I knew it would be close but didn't know how close. By my reckoning, less than 1 day's production.

Will post pix but still have a couple of months I think.
