Granted that you use valet's when you park your car at a restaraunt, hotels, etc. what do they usually say to you? is there a mad rush to park your car? this doesn't have to be just a ferrari, it can be any nice car

We only drive the F430 to restaurants with valet parking or where we can sit within eye sight of the car. We actually like parking it where we can see it...it's funny to watch other people's reaction to it. We sat in Chili's a few weeks ago and watched about 8 people come up and stare at the car. One kid took pictures with his cell phone for about 15 minutes. I don't let the valet touch it though...I park it myself in valet parking. I just throw them a $20 spot and they're usually good.

No one drives my cars, but me. Valet guys SUCK and wreck cars that don't belong to them.

First night I took my S4 home, we went to a nicer place downtown. When we got out to let the Valet park the car, I mentioned that it was new and to please take it easy.

When we left, our server forgot to get our Valet ticket when she normally would have, and ended up getting right before we left.

As we came outside, I saw my car come flying around the corner under full throttle and doing a four wheel drift, which is pretty tough in an AWD car.

Needless to say I was fuming, and when I went to the valet he said "I was just helping you break it in".

Well... the valet was fired and our meal was comped. I've never been back to that place either. The thing that bothered me most, is that I like to break in my cars a certain way, and having a valet floor it after it has not warmed up, is not one of the ways I do this procedure.

Before that I would never let Valets park any of my Cobras, because I knew it would be a car a Valet would be tempted to rag on. Also the last two I had made over 500ftlbs of torque, so I didn't want him wrecking the car.

i just thought an S4 was kind of boring, and wouldn't tempt the valet, guess I thought wrong.

I just use the park it myself method, or give the valet 20 bucks and park it at the curb method now. :-/

Wow sorry to hear it Peter, what an idiot. I've heard so many bad stories about valets I don't think I would let them near my keys either. Of course there's a lot of good ones but you never know which night is your lucky night
