Forgot about ebonics! Spend a lot of time in the "rougher" areas of Denver so I guess i can say ive leared what a lot of it means, but i dont speak it

OT. I knew a Mark Severino when I was a kid. We played AYSO soccer on the same team and had a couple of mutual friends. He was.......different!

English Spanish (Fluent) French (Fluent) (College study + yspent a year abroad in Nice & Cannes) Italian (College study + a summer abroad) Chinese (College study, and I'm back at it now too) Langauges are awesome. The key to learning a language is to understand that languages evolve, and that evolution generally means that things are the way they are for a reason. Most rules make sense, most exceptions are there not arbitrarily but to avoid ambiguity or to maintain consistency (i.e., with pronunciation). But enough about that. I should say that it's my opinion that the only languages that are going to matter (uh, that means, you better know how to speak them!) are English, Spanish, and Chinese. It's just a numbers game, folks! (Think about 20, 30 years from now...)
