    Texas of course!
Under the passenger side access square, there is a clear plastic/rubber line with white braided stripes in it. Looked like it ran from the cowl area to a small metal canister so I hooked it there. What exactly is it and how does this effect things now.

Coming from the finder are black and white wires with a rectangle black plug t the end. The small plug has one of the connector’s vertical the other horizontal to it. Couldn’t find where it would go, it is only about a foot long from the fender, near the pop up headlight, but inside this same access panel, anyone know what it is?

It's the tube for your windshield washer system. Sounds like you are missing the tank it attaches to.

Also, the wires are not black and white, its black, and the other one is gray with a red stripe.

Tex, Just had a look at my 348, Mate hate to say it live Vern did before but someone stole your windscreen washer bottle :D, See that stud in the right hand side of your pic is one of the mounts for the bottle reservoir. The wires are for the motor thats not visable in your picture, maybe they stole that too :D

Give Daniel a call here and he will help you replace yours ;)

There are two tanks in here, the other one is under the edge near the fender and the clear hose seemed to connect to it, so I thought I found where that goes, next to a black rubber hose? Just the wires were left? Do you know what the other tank is? Send an email to ricambi.

Yeah there should be 3. The 1st that's visable if the receiver drier, thats for your air con. The 2nd that is not visable that the hose connects too seems to be for the motor for the washer bottle, I'm assuming thats whats you are calling a tank like the receiver drier because its round?. The 3rd should take up all that extra space in that area and it should of have been a plastic white retangular tank, with a green filler lid in the corner ;)

I was calling the one that is not seen as it towards the fender, a tank because its a little metal round canister like the one for he air con but not as tall, and it had one black line coming out, and one outlet next to that that the clear one fits on, but now I don't think goes there. It has wires at the bottom going to it that I see today and looks like a motor/pump more than a tank having a second look. I’m thinking its for the air horn, if I hook up the clear line that fits, the horn sounds weak and pathetic, lol, and is OK when I take it back off, so it must go to the missing part instead, and that outlet next to the black hose I guess is just supposed to say open with nothing on it.

So, there are two things in there right now, one of them seems to be for the horn, the other air con, and studs indicate something else is missing. There are 2 studs on the side that you see in the picture showing one of them, and one at the other end. I’m thinking both of these unconnected things go to the one missing item, and the pump and bottle must set together or seem like one unit or something, because if your car has 3 items in there I already have 2. Hope the parts don’t cost a stupid amount, still have lots of other projects I want to do to the car, but waiting on ricamdi to get a better idea of what’s missing in the picture. No wonder I couldn’t find where the wire would go.

Well I for sure don't have that big tank, the little pump that looks like it goes under it. The clear hose I shop plus that wire looks like they may both go to the washer pump, part 16 I think? Can someone confirm?

You're missing the tank? Whoa, dude... that's whack. I've heard of previous owners keeping the books, tools, cover, keys, etc. But I've never heard of a previous owner keeping the washer fluid tank!

Joking of course. PAP and Dan, you have been great. Got at least 2 sources if I want to get this washer bottle back in there now, and if I go with a new part, ordering from Dan for sure :D I think one hose goes to the wipers and the other is to power it.
