Well this is my first post here, Ive been reading this site 3-4 hours a day for about a week now, and wow what a great forum!! So much good information! My dad had a 85 308 a few years ago, and Ive been in lust after a ferrari ever since. Im in the market for a 348 or 328 sometime in the next month or so, and trying to get as knowledgeable as I can be about both cars before I buy. Anyway, what model 308/328 is this?? I've never seen one with those lower ducts before, man it looks sharp!! I Thought it was a 328 turbo the europen one, but its left hand drive if you look, so it cant be that, right? Thanks for looking!

Well, of course, they can be left-hand-drive, because that's all you'll find on the continent! They are a GTB Turbo and a GTS Turbo, which is what the 328s were called when mated with the 2-liter turbo engine.

They were made for the Italian market to side step taxes on larger displacement engines. They did it for the 308's too. Those were called 208's and some were not even turbocharged (really slow). I have only seen one in my life. It was at the FCA Nationals at Colorado Springs in 2000. I walked right past it at first until something a little different about it cought my eye.

It's an Italian market turbo version of 328. I don't believe they were available elsewhere.
