I just saw the new Miami Vice movie last night, what model Ferrari did they use? I am new to owning a Ferrari, and recognise many of the older models and know what model they are but not most of the new ones Doug
... and what did he/she have for breakfast that morning??? OK, Mr. Registry junkie, let's see whatcha got!
Don't forget it had the blue exhaust flame factory option. They should have ordered the lime greeen factory undercarriage neon lighting, would have completed the effect.
I don't think my 308 has the blue flame option, or is it too old? Does the blue exhaust flame come on with the head lights? Brian gets all the fun options!
No its not standard, the blue flame option is a little known factory option that is usually shown only to buyers from the hip hop and R&B industry, or other well known pimps. Now the lime green neon undercarriage lights were offered to Paris Hilton, but she did not order it on her car. That option is only offered to well known actresses and sluts. Did anyone mention the strobe option for the tips of the F1 paddles?
The Blue Flame option is best used on Low Rider 50's Fords & Mercs, and maybe 55 Chevies, optional carbide skid plates for the sparks. I don't think the Blue flames even look good on Rice grinders (remember Fast & Furious?) Doug
The Blue Flame Option is also known as the work of Entity FX in the movie visual effects world. They did the visual effects for Band of Brothers among many other films.
The option was standard equipment on all older Ferrari and if you don't change the old hoses, the option activates at fill-up. There is also a fireball effect, but you need to ignore those gas vapor smells for quite a while before it activates and then you only get to see it once.
The Fireball sounds pretty neat, Can you order it before or only after you receive the repair estimate?
