took this while driving - a bit poor quality - but wonder if anyone can tell me what model it could be. spotted in Central London coming out of Underground carpark near the Green Park amazing sound it gave off... thanks H Image Unavailable, Please Login
having a closer look at the pic i would absolutely agree. the Lusso has a much wider rear screen and the big chromed prancing horse is another sign for the 275. but the weather is very nice anyway !
cheers Curiosity addressed and answered now. I am a bit of a petrolhead but was pulling my hair out with this one.. Your right it is a 275 GTB. I was driving the Gwagon late at night in rain near the Ritz when i came across it.. Quickly managed to grab the phone a take a photo. The flash made the driver look at me After now doing some research looks like there were very few RHD versions made (i read around 14 made) but maybe someone can confirm. And even more rare because of the colour - beautiful blue!! I bet they go for in excess of £500k. What do you think?
No, more than that. I believe there were 45 RHD 275 GTBs plus 22 275 GTB/4s. I cannot see the whole registration in your picture but I suspect the car pictured is 275 GTB/4 serial number 10995. As to value, generally GTB/4s go for a little more than GTBs. One 275 GTB/4 sold at the RM auction in Maranello back in May for about $2 million (USD). Although it is fair to say that that particular car is probably the best in existence. The only 275 GTB listed on www.anamera.com that actually quotes a price is up for €650,000. Jonathan
thanks mate. very useful info. The most expensive car I have snapped while out on the road!! Good to know the chap was really using it - i.e. in typical london weather.. just wish I had got the whole reg number :-(
Ooops, my mistake! Very late night, followed by too early a morning I'll look before posting next time! Cheers, Al.
