As per title really interested to know what modifications or upgrades you have done to your F430 as I am after some winter projects.

    I have done the following:

    • Exhaust race headers. Serves a purpose and not sure if everyone knows, but the standard manifolds have Pre-Cats, change these and what a noise that is unleashed!
    • Remote control exhaust valves. I can't deal with the ECU deciding when the valves are open and closed, and with race headers you need these!
    • Carbon and leather Steering wheel. This is my best Mod, transformed the interior and got rid of the blingy alloy thing.
    • Spacers. A must for me the wheels sit far to in the body.
    • Stereo upgrade. I now have Alexa and not the nasty standard Single DIN barely controllable thingy !
Interested to know what you have done and your thoughts and experience on the mod / upgrade please?

Well my car was pretty loaded to start with factory carbon on the inside , but...

    • Kline Exhaust with Inconel button controller
    • Fabspeed exhaust brackets
    • Fabspeed carbon fiber rear diffuser
    • Red painted embossed seat horses
    • Exotic Car Gear's carbon fiber rear hatch louvers (haven't installed them yet, I'm a bit OCD and wanted to do some clean up on them since they are very visible on the top of the engine hatch)
    • Ceramic window tint (almost clear with out any darkness, I forget the percentage)
    • Fire extinguisher with custom bracket
    • PPF on whole front and leading edges
    • Gyeon Ceramic coating
Everything else was simply restoration work like sticky buttons and stuff like that.

I need to deal with my sticky windows and mirrors buttons. Everything else is fine. Is it easy to do the windows buttons?

Well it depends on how handy you are. Quite a bit has to be taken apart, but nothing scary, if you want to remove the switches to send them out for refinishing. If you simply want to remove the sticky and manually coat with a protective clear then it's a lot of making and patience. The good news is that it's hard to remove the window icon printing when cleaning with ISP on a microfiber unlike other parts on the car, but you will need to still be careful not to damage printing.

Umm where do I start…. I guess I can start with chopped up oem body to install the Liberty walk Widebody Kit and scuderia front/rear bumpers that give way for the 20x9 -32 front wheels and 20x12.5 -51 rear wheels. Car is suspended above or laid out on the ground with Crafted Suspension Company air struts and Accuair Elevel+ management. My butt sits low and comfortably in Bride Vorga seats while I bang gears with the EAG 6speed manual and listen to the tuned engine eating air through carbon air boxes with BMC filters and shouting it out through some Fabspeed headers, Sadistic Iron Werks custom titanium test pipes and rear exhaust section.

I replaced my door speakers and tweeter pods with Focal speakers supplied by Scuderia Audio in California. They’re very helpful in picking the correct items and also during installation !!!

I had lots of interior parts professionally refinished at StickyRX.
    5 A/C Vents.
    MODE SET button plate.
    Complete Ashtray assembly.
Mirror, Hazard, Parking switches along with the plate that holds them with the Cigarette Lighter.
Both Interior Door Opening Handles/Mechanisms along with their cradles.
Wow, the new finish is like velvet. I did all the removal and replacement myself.
I refinished the steering column upper and lower covers myself a long time ago.
I had my Reverse and AUTO button plate powder coated by my friend. He also did the pieces that attach the leather passenger door pull. The powder coating is a very close match to the other refinished parts !!!
I replaced my silver steering wheel part with one that was covered in carbon fiber by MA Carbon. Looks awesome. I also replaced my original painted gauge panel with an OEM piece that is carbon fiber and replaced the original silver F1 paddles with carbon fiber ones.
Great learning experience doing all this work myself !!!

It’s mostly not difficult. Definitely ask questions about disassembly if you’re not sure. You don’t have to do it the way I did, but it’s an option. I bought lots of used parts. Put them in my car while mine were being refinished. This way my car wasn’t sitting and I didn’t need to ask StickyRX about rushing my parts !!!
And I didn’t do everything all at once.
I’m no expert, but I learned a lot and will always be happy to help if asked.
    Good Luck,
    Dominic

Thank you! That's a tough question because I haven't tracked costs, but the changes with the biggest impact are:

    1) Manifolds
    2) Scuderia seats
    3) Scuderia bumper and side skirts
    4) CCMs combined with lightweight wheels and Ti nuts

The rear diffuser saves 5.05 kg / 11.13 lbs
The engine undertray saves close to 4kg / 8.18 lbs

The carbon diffuser is available as a bolt-on part for the F430. The carbon under tray is designed for the Scuderia rear diffuser only.
