    I have a GT2 but I am considering buying a 550 for the street. I would like to take it to WSIR once in awhile instead of the porsche. What relatively minor changes woulds would anyone suggest....brakes, exhaust, suspension components, etc? Price is an issue.

    Keep in mind most of the use will be on the highway. Thx.

    I'm no expert on this, yet :)
    Here is my list;
    Brakes - minimum pad and fluid upgrade along with SS braided brake lines. If you're serious a front brake kit.
    Suspension - IMO the stock spring rates are too soft for the track, so either get a car with the Fiorano handling pack, or upgrade spring rates. Others here track their cars with std suspension, but I would think that is out of neccesity, not choice. BTW if anyone knows of a supplier of uprated springs for the 550, please PM me. I am having some made up at the moment, because I can't find a supplier.

    Maranelloman has extensive track time in the 550. He instructs at the track and after his Ferrari Chat ban lapses he might be able to provide some good pointers.
