    You would have thought that by now the Leaves fans or the Habs fans would have something to be proud of... I hate to kick a dog while he's down but...

    Leaves out in 4 <-- Main reason why the hockey thread is silent... even their fans can predict the outcome... funny how I haven't seen an influx of "relax, it's just one game" like the habs fans are doing on facebook right now...

    No one in Quebec had a good night sleep last night (especially Eller LMFAO!!!)

    I, however, slept like a baby...

    I was watching the french tv show (L'Antichambre - where they analyse and dissect every aspect of the game and come up with the excuses) after the game for a good laugh and it took like 45 minutes to finally have them acknowledge the hit was clean and they finally threw Price under the bus and blamed his performance on the loss.

    Those cups don't count. There were only 6 teams in the league. If every year you have a one in six chance of winning the cup that's cheap. It reminds me of the CFL.
    Not to say that current hockey is the best hockey but watching old highlights from the 70s and earlier is not that impressive. Goalies used to never go down to make a save. The talent and skill levels today are much higher.
    PS I am loving the Ottawa Montreal series. It is very refreshing to watch hockey when the teams hate each other. Makes the Vancouver San Jose series a big yawn.

    Who's whining? It just seems the Montreal (& now Ottawa) fans have nothing better to do than make fun of the Leafs & LOVE to see them lose. I HATE YOU GUYS :mad:
