Is that stat out there? Thanks!
Hi Rob, In my database, I currently have 1113 612's. Of these: 728 are confirmed as F1 44 are confirmed as manual (but should probably be around 60-70, due to partly inexact spotting) And 341 are unknown So I think one can safely assume that clearly over 90% of 612's are F1 Hope this helps. Ciao, Lars T.
Lars, how figures vary, the "Book" shows currently 1,171, thereoff 157 manuals and 716 confirmed F1. We probably should compare our list by pm, shouldn't we?
Hi Matthias, We seem to be visiting the same threads lately Probably the difference in manuals is due to the fact that I only counted the manuals that the spotter expressly listed as a manual. So, a 612 spotted only as "612 Scaglietti" - without "manual or F1" attached to it - I would count as a "transmission unknown". Since several spotters do not add "manual" if it is not an F1, it is not always clear if it is indeed a manual or if they just forgot to check. Anyway, the list-comparing-by-pm-opportunity might come up sooner than you think: Keep an eye on your email during the next one or maybe two weeks, you might be in for a surprise! Ciao, Lars T. Anyway
I'm going to find out next week, but I have been told that there is a high probability that there will be NO MORE manual 612s.
I'm pretty sure that's a worldwide number. As for US, I have no idea, but I'm going to throw a number out there and guess 350. Am I close?
When I bought my 6 speed 612 H-GTS, I was told by the dealership that they had been told that 95% of 612s were F1. And that the combination of 6 speed and H-GTS/GTC was a very small percentage of that. Anyone know the percentage with the H-packages?
I did get confirmation that they will no longer build a manual 612. I wonder how much longer for the 599?
I was under the impression there would be no more manual 599s - at least not in the US. The supposed magic number of total US 599s with a manual box is 20.
I believe it. Are they still doing manual 612s for other markets? My information only extends to the US, but I was led to believe that it was worldwide.
while i like F1 for convenience in traffic, etc i find the f1 in the sca to be very slow shiftng compared to my strads... it reminds me of my wife's QP altho' not that bad
