Yep,the diff centre APPEARS to be ok,the pinion has a tooth off it.....the tooth comes with the unit but it can't be stiched back on!
Pfft...silly statement. The car was advertised as a restored probably one of the best in Aussie: https://classicthrottleshop.com/1974-ferrari-365-gt4-2-2-azzurro-di-mare/ Not one that changes it from a 365 to a lower geared auto.
yes...a silly statement that was spot on. You never know what you're buying......NEVER. And this is the proof.
No. So, for the sake of the slow, I'll repeat myself. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING. and it was $40k over the life of my ownership btw...but I digress.
Well it certainly seems there is some discrepancy between the claims and the reality... incorrect diff seems fairly significant ‘diversion’ from original.
Yep, but I can't see how CTS would've known this. Surely this lies with the previous owner or whomever rebuilt the differential!
Pretty sure it'll be different.....Ian? The C4 diff is,I have access to one if I wanted to.but it's not a match.
