Faark Simon! Just read through the thread! Hopefully the end result is good and you have a car that drives like original!
We have all caught up in the homo’s catch up this morning. We even determined the cause of the issue and solution.
Time to fit the 2ndhand LH window motor to "probably the best 365GT4 2+2 in Australia" as the original wouldn't wind all the way and needed 2 helping hands. Much swearing at doing a job on a car you've never had to before reveals a non Ferrari supplied part and having to use one of Everest's finest as I was at home and not the work shed. Anyhoo fitted the 2hand part and it's doing the same thing Grrrrr,it has a built in kill switch and cuts out then back in after a few seconds. There would be a circuit breaker inside the motor assy. Simon. You'll probably have to strip the door and lube all the runners, pulleys, then fit relays to bypass voltage drop.
Luckily it's in the boot of the busted car as all my tools are at the work shed 5klm away Image Unavailable, Please Login
