Since we're posting pics.......here's an example of what the highest resolution, a filter and adjusted contrast in Photoshop can do to a paint finish. Easiest one minute wax job in the world.......... Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yes! We should get together! I will let you know my schedule. Last time I was out your way I spent time in Ipatinga at the Panarama Tower Hotel. I'll leave my camera at home so I don't look like a tourist! PD
I usually shoot the Nikon D1 on "normal" (medium) & the D70 at the lower medium range w/ less compression. Then I edit the size down in Photo-Paint or Photoshop for web usage. Now if I were going to have a 8x12 or larger print made, I would definitly go for the camera's max MP.
Ok I'm going to rock the boat alittle, but I do know what I'm talking about. The resolution of the camera determines nothing but the size of the out put. If I you take a photo with a 2mp camera and a 6mp camera and out put them both at 4"x6" @ 300ppi they will be of the same quality as far a resolution goes. Now if you want to out put larger demintions you will need to either have a higher res camera or res-up your files. Second there are alot of factors that go into the quality of a digi cam other that the resolution. If it has a sh!ty lens and a 8mp sensor the photos won't look as good as one taken with a 2mp camera with a kick ass lens. Thirdly did you know that the there is a very fine line between resolution and noise? If you have a sensor that is 15mmx10mm and it has 2M pixels on it each pixel is fairly large, but when you get the same size sensor and 6mp you now have very small pixels that are crammed in the chip. This is were noise comes from. There is so much info coming off the chip that the image processor starts can't process for the small anomalies that happen between all of the pixels. You see this in the image as noise.
The battery grip is alright... Haven't needed to change the batteries in 3 years or so... It does however ad a lot of weight to the camera... That is a Rebel 2000 BTW. Do you know if there is any difference in pictures with the ef-s lens and ef lenses?
