What should be the normal range of pressure reading for 430

    Hi all

    I have a newbie question here.

    I recently acquired a f430 with full novitec rosso race package ( twin super charger etc ).

    I notice that the pressure reading on my 430 varies a lot, at engine start, and during drive. At engine start, the pressure reading rises to 5 bar before dropping to about 1. During drive, it varies between 1 bar to 7 bar. Is that normal?

    "At engine start, the pressure reading rises to 5 bar before dropping to about 1. " this could be as a result of high idle until engine warms up and drops about 100 rpms. The measure should be if at a steady rpm (say 4 thousand RPM) the needle stays steady. You might have the oil pressure sender checked otherwise.

    I have exactly the same and seems to be quite normal for F430
