    I am opening the doors on my '81 308 GTSi and I figure I might as well replace the speakers while I am at it. Does anyone know what size they are so I can order a pair?

    If no one else chimes in,i'll measure mine and post. I have my door panels off doing window motor / cable maintenance. They look about 5'' x 5'' square assuming mine are oem. I don't listen to radio much,rather listen to the music coming from behind my head.

    Original size is 5 1/4" with euro hole pattern. Some 6 or 6 1/2" will work but you will have to redrill/relocate the mounting holes.

    The doors make nice sound boxes for really large sub-woofers - 12 or 14 inches at least. I like to make sure the branding is clearly visible through the screen - Rockford or "Sound Blaster" or "MegaBoom" or some such description.....
