    I know that many of you wonderful people have placed orders for F430 Scuderias. Therefore, I wonder if you would be so kind as to indulge the dreamers such as myself and tell us what colour combination you have ordered - particularly since given the options for exterior paint, stripe colour (or no stripe), wheel colour and interior seat trim, the potential number of combinations are quite extensive.

    Also it will give the dreamers such as me an idea of the cars to look out for in 10 years time by which time I may finally be able to afford to buy a used Scuderia :D ;) :)

    Thanks in advance!

    No one in North America has placed an order. I don't know about the rest of the world?

    I am still not set on my exterior color, but most likely it will be Grigio Ferro Metallic 790 from the '50-'60 color chart, with the dark metallic grey or black wheels.

    My specs are as follow

    * Exterior: Rosso Corsa (or rosso scuderia or the new metallic red if ever produced)
    * Interior: Sport seats in alcantara material (nero or dark grey)
    * Instrument panel - Yellow
    * Yellow calipers
    * Ipod connector
    * Carbon Fiber with led steering wheel
    * Racing Stipes (definitely)
    * Rims in Grey color
    * Special stitching STC2 Rosso (or silver stripes)
    * Tires pressure Measurement
    * 4 points harness seat belt (nero or red)

    As you can see, I'm still a bit confused on some options... Hopefully, I'll make up my mind soon...

    Cheers

    With the black car does the stripe have to be silver or were there any options (ie white)?

    That will be UNIQUE, really ONE and ONLY 430 Scuderia. Congrats.

    I made my Scuderia a little bit unique going special comisioning interior, but your car is really unique.

    Although not technically a color selection, whatever you do, don't overlook the optional CF headlight trim and the CF front splitter. The cars in Frankfurt had both of these options - wow! Absolutely sick!

    CF mirrors, rear diffuser, engine cover vents, intake, air boxes, engine side panels and door panels are hopefully standard Scuderia items. If not, well then these would have to be added to the list as well.

    The CF elements that will be available as options but not before january 2008 are:

    Front deflector (code CEXF)
    Rear diffuser ( code CEXR)
    Side panels (Code CEXS)

    These elements are VERY expensive! Total would come to more than 20K€ (excluding VAT) and watch out the first time your diffuser takes a small rock at speed.....

    I am against a diffuser in CF. Mine took a rock at speed and a small piece on one of the fins broke off. I removed it, had it fixed and resprayed it.........looks good as new. Can't do this on a CF diffuser.

    CF much tougher. I drove my CGT 8,000kms at slightly above the legal speed limit in China, went airborne many times and my rear diffuser was bellissimo. I am in favour of a CF rear diffuser. CF repairs are cheap if you know where to go. The nose cone, winglets, etc. on my Formula Renault have had so many repairs. No big deal

    Thanks DM. I have no knowledge of repairing CF and I am quite sure there are no CF repair shops in my country.....can you maybe briefly explain to me how CF is repaired and if there are CF repair kits available. Is it similar to repairing gelcoat on GRP boat hulls?
