What Steering Wheel Airbag Resistor?

Hi Gents. In a US Spec '99 355 F1, when replacing an airbag with a non airbag steering wheel, what resistor should be inserted into the now disconnected airbag wiring to retain warning light function? I've read 1/2 watt 3.3 ohm for a Euro Spec '98 and heard (but not seen) 1/4 watt 4 ohm. I'm hoping to find one of you amazingly brilliant guys who knows thereby sparing my ECU(s) from potential irrevocable disaster. Thank you.
