Again, this is one person's opinion. Many other people like the car. Every one is welcome to their opinion. Except for the wheels, I really like the 599GTB enough to consider ordering one. Frankly, I can't think of a single car that I like 100%, but then, that is my opinion.

This topic, including the Alfa, has been discussed in great abundance in at least three other threads on FChat. Maybe its time to move on to new more interesting topics?

OK, the Alfa TZ3 is the road going version of the GT, and has a Ferrari V-12. So the name Scuderia Ferrari will follow whatever name Alfa finally decides to use.

According to the article I read, this car will have a version of the Ferrari V-12, and have the Ferrari logo as part of its official name.

I think the new 599GTB looks better than that thing...in fact, IMHO the 599GTB is one of the best looking Ferraris in decades...

I agree with you. I am looking forward to seeing the car in its final form.

    So?
It looks like an Alfa ,good for them,it's only a rear end pic, can't make any opinion based on that.
Some people here have very strong opinions ("garbage") about 599 ,even though they had not seen it yet, except some distorted, traditionally(in Ferrari's history) bad pics.

Ok, so lets have Ferrari go ahead and make a 12-cyl that has a ridiculous amount of styling cues from the last generation of the 8cyl, the 360. The diffuser, mirrors, rear grill, tail lights, front wheel wells... the list goes on.

And besides, wheres the engine in that thing, the back end looks so large I can't see it being put in the front, otherwise whats the point of that ridiculously large hatch? I can't see Ferrari switching back to a mid-mounted 12-cyl any time soon...

But, on the other hand, I do, atleast initially, like how this looks, although I will reserve final judgement on it until sketches depicting the front, side, etc are released to get an overall feel for the car.

What's the use of a another front engined good looking Italian V-12?

Just convert the 8C competitione (or maybe the TZ3) to a "normal" production car. And make it an affordable 6C. Let some ITALIAN guy devellop a 3.0 V6 compressor engine with 300 Bhp (Or better: the genuine Alfa 3.2, I'll settle for 250 BHP then.....) and put it as Alfa or Dino on the market.

That adds something to the Z4 coupe, Cayman, 350Z & TVR class.

Because front engined good looking cars have always been the staple of Ferrari GT cars...except from 1987(last 412) through 1995(first 456).

It is pretty in its own right. It looks like an Alfa, not a Ferrari, but it does have a Ferrari V-12. The 599 GTB is just a pretty. I liked that earlier quote, "opinions are like butt holes."

So for everyone that does not like the new 599GTB: OK. That's fine, made your point.

    Next topic?
