Anyone who has ever been in the AF or around Fighter guys, of ANY era, will howl at this 1966 spoof by two AF PA guys.
The last line is still true today!

I listened to this next to my wife. She said I sound just like the captain. My Dad was in the USAF for 27 years, I guess I picked up the lingo growing up. I've forwarded this to him, I know he will love it. Thanks for posting!

That was great. I was in SAC, in a B47 bomb wing, and got out in 62. I can tell you that things have not changed much.

Very good! The video footage was cool, too. The C-130s and C-141s were expected, but Northwest and Pan Am 707s?

    Neat reply from my Dad:

"Brig Travis McNeil, the "Captain" in this was Commander of the 314th Air Division, Osan AB Korea when I was there."

What the moderator means is: he's now put on guard to the young upstart's intentions and he's up for the challenge of ensuring nothing he says can be misinterpreted.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Didn't they have contracts to ferry troops back and forth? I'm pretty sure that Continental did also.
