reading into the rear brake issues a bit more, the ERS harvests from the rear brakes. With balance moved forwards there's a good chance it affected the ERS harvesting and gave a bit less electric power every lap.

This probably should go into the ''nico can't overtake thread'' but I can't be bothered to argue yet. Feel free to post this in there anyone that can be bothered ;).

Mattiacci says "We need to improve the car at 360 degrees,"

That means they will be back to zero when done....

I saw that also, sounds like something the current Ferrari tech staff would say...

His words were "we need a 360 degree improvement" not a "360 degree TURN".

Wasn't there a basketball player that had the same quote, expressing the need to turn the team around 360 degrees?

Also reminded me of a quote from Gil Amelio, the Apple CEO who held the post before Jobs came back to save the company:

"Apple is like a ship with a hole in the bottom, leaking water, and my job is to get the ship pointed in the right direction."

    :)

Read an article today where Marco was quoted in saying it could take several years to get a competitive engine in place. He also admitted that there had been far too much focus on engine reliability over outright performance.

So slow and steady doesn't win the race?

So how good was Byrne vs Newey vs Barnard, because this car is supposed to be the result of Bryne's input right?
