    Hello,
    I'm searching for a wax and a polish for my 328. When did Ferrari start to use clearcoat? I ask b/c I checked out Zaino's products and they mention a polissh for Non clear coat surfaces. Thanks, J.

    I use Zaino's polish for regular paint (i.e. no clear coat) on my '86 328.

    Had my '86 buffed out last week. Definitely no clearcoat.

    I've used Griot's Garage products with great success on my '79 308 GT4 (no clearcoat, obviously), and I'd highly recommend them. The product is top notch and the customer service was second to none (the one time I had to use them).

    The metalic colors use clear coat, the rest (like rossa corsa) do not.
