Has anyone in this little online family had trouble with hit and runs, door dings or the dreaded Keyings?

Noone I know with a Ferrari, old or new, has experienced this type of evildoing. Porsches all get keyed. BMWs often, Mercedes Benz and even Jaguars succumb to that fate.

Is it more respect for the Italian 'works of art'?

We have had a lot of threads where the owner had the bad luck of having his car vandalized. IIRC , one had his 348 spat on the day after he got it..

Unbelievable losers out there who cannot just appreciate something nice. Would these same corksoccers spit upon someone else's girlfirend if prettier than one's own?

Pardon the ignorance, but what is IIRC?

    TJ,
It may be where I live, but here in Seattle, it seems rare. I do know of one local FCA member that had his 328GTS repeatedly keyed (three incidents) in his apartment garage. He moved.

I have come out to find spit (!) on the various Ferraris I have owned over the years....oh and once someone dumped an entire cup for full of ice and coca cola, on the hood....but that is it. Maybe I am lucky.

    Thanks Huge.

That is exactly the info for which I was looking. Also, thanks to Frances for the researched threads.

Any other recent acts of kindness others have experienced? Not just awful things?

I left the top down on my 355 at the mall and someone threw a dead bird in it. I was a little miffed but I still luaghed. I released said bird as the guy in History of the World did. FREE, FREE, FREEEEE. Dead birds don't fly far.

That's disgusting. If one has a moral objection to Ferraris, or other exotica, ignore it, DON'T vandalise it. I can't understand vandalism, it is truly a senseless act that achieves nothing.

Lots of people out ther hate themselves and thus they hate othes with even more vengence so they destroy anything beautiful that someone else may cherish. It is hard for normal people to even wrap their mind around people like that. I'm with you brother.
