    I seem to recall reading that the transmission hangs down so low that bumps in the road can rip it out. At least I THINK it was a Mangusta.

    In ‘Kill Bill’ the character Bill was the snake charmer, his hit girls were the snakes, as in Black mamba, Copperhead etc. The Mongoose kills snakes, in fact I seem to remember it is the cobra’s chief enemy. Having the Snake Charmer with a parked snake killer at the edge of the frame was pure Tarantino.

    Incidentally DeTomasso gave it the name because he wanted to ‘kill’ the Shelby Cobra.
