You can do a little searching through the archives on this, as it's been discussed many times before but, to answer your question:

The Auto Avio Costruzioni 815 of 1940 was the first car built by Enzo Ferrari following his split with Alfa Romeo. The 125 Sport of 1947 was the first car built under the "Ferrari" name. For photos of either, I suggest trying a Google image search:

    "Auto Avio 815"

    "Ferrari 125 Sport"

    Google is our friend.

Interesting how the car lasted 3 years as a racing car. That never happens.
    Thanks for the link.

Some would argue that the first car built by Scuderia Ferrari was the ALFA
    Romeo bi-motore, circa 1937.

    Jeffrey,

I would agree with you that the first car Enzo Ferrari built, at the Scuderia Ferrari, was the Alfa Bi-Motore. I suppose that some could argue that the group of Alfa Monzas assembled by Ferrari (the cars carrying SF numbers) would count, and would be even earlier.

The first car under his own name was the 125 Sport.

Ferrari deconstructed old race cars, restamped their chassis and used those chassis to build new race cars? I wonder what happened to the old race car chassis that he didn't turn into new race cars after deconstructing them?
    But I degress.

It is likely that that article is correct and that Ferrari did deconstruct the 125's restamp their chassis, and at a later date, (after 002C and 004C were built) build 166's on the restamped chassis.

As the 125's no longer exist, one can see why Phill Hill refered to 002C as the "Oldest Ferrari (existant)". If one requires original body in addition to original chassis, with originally stamped #, and original engine, etc. that nod would go to 004C.

Either way I still love her.
