Perhaps Marcel or Matthias have a verified list of OEM Chairs and Flares cars, but per the Dino Register, Denny Schue, he states the first car to have "Chairs" was 04878 so that kinda sets a lower VIN boundry.
    http://www.dinoregister.com/production.php

    "Daytona seats
Even though it is common to find Daytona seats in cars with wide fender flares and wide wheels mentioned above, it was a separate option and had to be ordered in addition to the flares and wide wheels. The owner of Dino 04878 claims to have a letter from the Ferrari factory which states that his car was the first to be equipped with daytona seats by the factory.
    "

I own 05702 and have obtained the Chinetti delivery paperwork showing C&F but I'm not claiming mine was the first.

    I owned 08232 and 08312..
    both C and F..
I saw a Dino with an 06 start # and questioned its claim of C and F
I thought they started in 73..but I seem to remember a very early coupe with these flares

    Thanks

But the question was not "which was the first car with either Chairs or Flares"
rather which Dino had both Chairs and Flares?

Dino 05702 had both per OEM, documented by the Chinetti delivery paperwork, and was delivered Feb 1973

Is Dino 05702 the first with Chairs and Flares?

    Thank you in advance

Daytona seats have been introduced at about the same time as the flares, in late 1972. I don`t know for sure which car the first with chairs was, but it wasn`t #05702.

this car used to be owned by a friend of mine does somebody know where this car is today(last information from the late 90's it was still in Belgium) .
This car was used at least once on track ,before the 1000km of Spa in may 1975 and probably on Ferrari Club event in Belgium and France .

Could these photo's be the first official shots of the Daytona seats fitted to a GTS? In the first photo the whole door has been removed to allow the photographer a better shot of the cabin so they went to a lot of trouble to show these seats. It looks likely to be a US model judging by the seatbelts and fitment of air con. The photogapher's reflection can be seen in the second one underneath the side air intake.

Great photo Iain, clears up a answer I was looking for, the correct bolts that hold the dash in place. Slotted button :)

    Thank you.
So the best answer to the original question is "somewhere between 05454 and 05702 was the first Chairs and Flares Dino"
which is a range of 124 Dinos. Much appreciated

My Truss Head screws back from plating for the dash side mounts.

It would be fun to start a thread on teh Concours Correct fasteners for a Dino - judging has gotten to the point where Dinos are now vintage and these are important

production date is key, not the chassis no. ….
#04482, US-GTS, likely to be first chairs & flares (but not factory confirmed), production 21.12.1972 (#05454 production date 15.12.1972)
    first confirmed c&f: #04946 US-GT - production March 1973

I don't think they are correct, I could be wrong, but all the slotted head screws are of the mushroom type whereby the slot stops just short of the edge. ie those in the photo post 13. These are also fitted on the engine crossbar that holds the latch.

But you would need to be rather observant [obsessive] to notice the difference!

Would be interesting to know what was the first UK car with C&F was.

06866 is my original chairs and flares 246gt (body 2639) and was delivered to Maranello UK in July 1973 (ordered April 73) and used as their sole demonstrator / show car. It had all the options except AC, ie Campy wheels, Daytona seats, flared wheel arch extensions, power windows and nudge bar

    best

What a wonderful point of data to remind us that Ferrari was not always "sequence oriented" LOL
    Thank you once again.

Production date is obviously not delivery date but is it different than US chassis plate stamping date?
Feb 73 still before. (I'm still trying for that #1 spot! )

    05702 was completed 23 May 1973.
Door jamb data plates mean little, and oftentimes are stamped with completely incorrect months.

Thank you once again for supporting our passion.
I am the second owner of Dino 05702 and the first owner took delivery on the exact date of the exact month of my 15th birthday so I have a serious connection with this Dino.

In the back of my mind I was hoping (praying) you would have said Feb 14th Valentines Day.
    Here is why:
Porsche factory confirmed my 2019 GT3Touring PTS (special paint) request on my exact birthday last year and then delivered it on Valentines Day to PEC Atlanta yielding an epic drive back to Arizona. It was meant to be...and has only been fun

PS - I am still holding a paid room for you, en gratis, at Amara Sedona for 3 nights Nov 10-13, 2019 should you change your mind and be able to attend the Dino Rally to The Grand Canyon. The down side is that we will make you wear one of our custom Dino Rally Polo shirts and take pictures :)
    Kind regards,
    Scott
