    After revving the engine in your driveway for a few hours and no doubt pissing off all your neighbors, what were the first tunes you put on as you took off on the roads for the first time (besides listening to the engine)?

    I imagine I would just listen to the engine howl until I hit an on-ramp, and right before getting on, I would put on Guns and Roses - Welcome to the Jungle.

    I can think of no better intro of a song to enter the highway on in Gods gift to autmobiles.

    I had to throw in G&R's 'Welcome to the Jungle', as I drove it to work the first day I bought it. Once on the highway, I cranked that sucker up!

    Sammy Hagar. I can't drive 55 !!! The radio sounded bad though. I shut it off almost immediately. The radio was original. I inserted a tape. Yuk.

    My first F car was 328GTS, and I didn't use its stereo at all.

    Second one was 355 Spyder, and again I never used its stereo.

    Third is 355GTB, and it has more than average stereo installed by the previous owner, so I finally tried it out.

    "Mission Impossible" Theme song (the one w/ Tom Cruise, not TV series)

    This music blended so well w/ the exhaust note of 355GTB. I think the CD is still in there.

    I love the sound of the TR engine. I have put 1000 mi. on the car car so far and have yet to turn the audio on. I am going up to Kansas City for a run with the FCA group on Sat and may give it a try. Any suggestions. Thinking about the Sonic Temple CD from The Cult. Seems very fitting.

    Haven't even tried the Sony F7000 in my new 328 but it seems to have a mind of its own w/ the videos. After I read the directions I plan to play "Wicked Game" - Chris Isaak. Yeah.

    Mt 330 2+2 had a late '70s stereo/cassette player in a home made console panel--never turned it on and removed it ASAP -- an abomination. I still need to fix the gaping 6" speaker holes under the rear seat windows.

    I love it, especially Highway 101. I was blasting that song as I was driving up 101 the other day. I wish John Maurer hadn't left the band, but Mike Ness still kicks ass.
