what was the MSRP for a F360 back in 2000?

I looked at one brand new at RT and it was $136,xxx. A year later there was a 2000 used one just like it but is was a 6sp manual and had a few thousand miles. I figured it would be somewhere in the $120,000 now. After asking the salesman, $235,000. That is when I started researching Ferrari heavily and found that when I new model comes out the used ones are more money than MSRP. Comparing regular car logic to Ferrari just doesn't work.

 

You may need to do more research. It has little to do with a "new model coming out" and much to do with the waiting list. When your spot on the waiting list comes up, you buy the car at MSRP. If you have to buy it from someone else, you have to pay a premium. This does not apply to models for which there is no waiting list, i.e. 575m.

 

You do the math. Clearly many of these options were either/or, but many of us have added other options like Tubi/capristo, carbon fiber,etc. It all adds a lot to the $2k in destination fees plus the MSRP base price.

I almost forgot one other option....I recently found a 2000 360 modena with a factory installed sunroof. I was told it was a $4500 option.
