What was your 2nd Ferrari?

A "spare"....identical to the first, but 300 cars newer!

Well, it IS a different color, so we can keep the keys straight!

 

2nd was 512TR....

 

1st was a 355 Fiorano
2nd was a 550 Maranello

still have both of them.

Contemplating adding a 3rd one, 612 Scagligetti.

I saw a silverstone silver 612 today for the first time. I like it a lot. I also saw a couple black ones also at the dealer. Black looks nice too. The 612 look is growing on me slowly.

 

MY FIRST FERRARI WAS A 1992 512TR... MY SECOND FERRARI A 1995 F512M.. I TRADED IN MY 1992 TR.. FOR THE F512M.. CLASSIC LINES MODERN LOOKS.. HORSEPOWER INCREASE. HIGHER TORQUE INCREASE. ABS STANDARD ON 1994 AND 1995 MODELS...AND SOME 1993... BETTER BRAKES.. BETTER LOOKS. FAN LIKE RIMS .... AND COLOR YELLOW/ BLACK... DARE TO BE DIFFERENT......

Mine will probably be a good 308 GT4. I like those more and more when I see one.

 

1987 328 GTS

 

First was a TR as it was my dream car second was a 355 Spider as it is a great car but more modern and driveable.

 

My First was a 330GTC - 67
Second was a 250GTE - 61
Thrid was a 355 Spider - 95
Fourth was a Lamborghini Gallardo - 04
On Order is the Gallardo Spyder - due in March - 06

I loved the vintage cars - but didn't drive them due to fear of breaking, taking months to source parts, my wife didn't like them as much due to the modern convieniences when going out on the town - the newer cars I drive a lot more - my wife does too. And that warranty thing is pretty nice too

I will go back to the vintage F-cars one day and think the best blend is having both old and new!

 

First - 355 Spider
Second - 550 Maranello
Third - Challenge Stradale

we'll see what the 575M Maranello replacement looks like as to whether there might be a Fourth....

My 1st and current for the past 7 yrs almost...86tr

my second which I am in the process hopefully before spring to have should be a 355 6speed. red/blk to match the tr.

 

1st - '82 308 GTSi
2nd - '85 308 QV

I wanted more power and dependability.....but still be able to work on it myself.

 

My one and only, is my '85' Euro 308 GTS QV. And for the last 3 years, it has been all I want and need. Now, what the future may hold................ who knows.

Ditto on cars and color great taste!!!!

 

1st = 1988 328 GTS red/tan 5-speed
2nd = 2001 360 Modena titanium/black 6-speed
(only have the 360 now)

 

1st : '86 red/tan 328 gts
2nd : '97 yellow/black 355 spider

#2 1967 330 GT 2+2

Best of both worlds- the most reliable Ferrari and a vintage V-12. The only way I think I can round this out is a 550 Maranello (#3 someday)
