You sound like one insecure guy. "Will that be all sir?" sounds like the standard response from half the sales people on the planet and has nothing to do with you. Must have made you feel really great to go off on her like that.
Your glass is half full! Perhaps I need another cup of coffee, I thought it was serious and came across as unjustafied and cruel.
That wasnt blatant . That was just rude and uncalled for . The saler wasnt implying you could only buy a bag , he was asking if you needed anything else ...
I'd imagine that most of the people who shop at LV typically only buy one item at a time. In fact, probably most of the people who walk in the store don't even buy anything. But, it is a quote where the tone of voice can really play a role. It certainly can sound stuck up and rude if you say it harshly.
Ya think if he said it like: "Will that be all sir?" As in he is trying to belittle you because you are only buying one small handbag rather than 1 small handbag, 1 large handbag, and a huge trunk.
I once picked up a hooker in my Esprit Turbo, and pretended not to know how to drive it. When she asked why I didnt know how to drive the car, I smugly told her "I've been riding around in limos my whole life. I never needed to drive." I took her shopping later on Rodeo and really let the snooty salespeople have it.
I was once invited to Columbia. I didn't think in light of one of my movies "McBain" that was such a good idea. The person who invited me said: "What are you worried about? Carlos loves your movies." Carlos had just offered to pay off the entire debt of Columbia. Now that was a statement.
I am one of those kids, to a lesser degree I think. My family is very down to earth though. However I used to be insecure with my wealth and try to make myself feel better by flaunting money or letting people know how rich I am. That was pretty lame and it made me feel like **** later. I am glad I have grown out of that stage...
So Antony, what is the advantage of the Black card over the Platinum and what is the fee? How is the fee justified? I recall getting the elaborate invitation package a few years back, but dismissed it out of hand due to the fee. Now that I travel more I wonder if it may be worth it?
Yes, I was. I was just trying to highlight the stupidity of threads like this. I consider them as productive (not) as: 1) What do you do for a living in order to drive a Ferrari????? 2) How much do you earn to drive a Ferrari????? 3) Hey guys! I've got a wonderful business proposition for you!!!!
Just to clarify lest I have defamed LV: I based my little dig at this thread on personal experience. The sales assistant was very helpful and made the statement in a friendly manner. The staff at LV Melbourne are very nice, actually!
LOL... "You're late..." "You're stunning..." "You're forgiven!" Love that movie. While down at Cavallino this past weekend, someone approached me and asked about my tattoo... We got to talking, then I was asked if I owned a Ferrari... I said, "Not yet" - totally implying that I would one-day own a Ferrari...! OMG, how arrogant is that...!!!
