    Beautiful watch! I've developed a real appreciation for PP on this thread.

    However, I don't think I'd buy one even if I could part with the dough and not miss it. Never missed the $$$ for my Rolex SS datejust and I'm embarrassed to wear it.

    I am left handed and it drives me nuts to always bump the watch when writting.

    The date is updated but these are archived photos. I have 7 that I rotate and it is easier to save one pic then take avery day.

    Based on Valjoux 7751 and mass produced - so its very reliable and easy to service. Maurice Lacroix ist not the most sophisticated brand but makes swiss watches in good quality at affordable prices.

    $3K is the most I can see myself spending for a watch -therefore looks, features, quality, and reliability take precedence over name-based snob appeal. In my particular case, the less snob appeal the better.
