I’m glad your enjoying your watch. I took it’s identical twin out a couple of weeks ago to post the picture and Ive worn it daily since. It’s very comfortable and handsome. I get in a rut and wear the same watch for months or even years. You inspired me to switch them up. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Sunny here today as well. But still cool enough for a sweater. Sticky hot can wait. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Surprised I like it as much as I do. REALLY like the Tapestry dial. Glad you're enjoying yours again.

View attachment 2686744 If there is an equivalent to a “daily driver” when it comes to watches, this is mine: a TAG Heuer quartz diver watch. Aside from battery changes, it is a zero-maintenance watch; always the right time, totally waterproof with a screw down back and crown. My wife gave it to me, totally by surprise, to commemorate the birth of our second daughter. It has huge sentimental value now; that first event, memories of washing sand off of it from digging fox holes for the growing kids on Newport Beach, Disney’s Splash Mountain, etc. I was looking at it in bright sunshine late last year. It is so badly neglected; the bracelet is bent, the bezel is worn, there are chips and dings everywhere. My first thought was that I should send it in for restoration. My second reaction was that I never should. All that “patina” is part of the story to me. It is not the same watch without it. It is a wreck now, but I love it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Vintage watches and cars.......you can restore them a thousand times, but they’re only original once.
Daily driver, that's it, absolutely. It's nice enough that I love the watch, but not so valuable I sweat about going for a swim or getting mugged for it! The only watch I really covet is a Patek world time. The 5110 or it's replacement the 5230 in white gold. I've just never been able to bring myself to pay that much for a watch.
